Cycling the Col du Galiber & Telegraph
There are two ways to do this ride but the classic is via the Col du Télégraphe. For this, the starting point of of Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne is a 45 minute drive from the B&B Cascina Genzianella. Cyling the alternative route can be done from the Genzianella via Colle della Scala or Montegnevere, Briancon and Col du Lauteret.

Brief: One of the highest climbs in the Alps and, for many, one of the most challenging. It is the eighth highest paved road in the Alps, and recurrently the highest point of the Tour de France. In general, the col is open from June to October depending upon snow clearance.
