BARDONECCHIA

Bardonecchia, 15 minutes from La Cascina Genzianella, has 100 km of slopes 20 lifts and a miximum elevation of  2800 m. The resort is divided up into three main areas: Colomion-Les Arnauds and Melezet (where there are a wide range of runs that wind down through the woods) and Jafferau. For the first two, the starting point is at Campo Smith. A free bus from the town connects to Jafferau where the highest point is 2800 metres and here there are good opportunties for off-piste skiing.
